We didn’t just start Knotty Beauty to do hair — we wanted to create a whole vibe. Woodstock deserved a salon that feels like your cool, cozy hangout where you get killer colour, fresh styles, and zero pressure. For us, it’s about real connections, custom looks that fit your life (and your mood), and bringing a little downtown sparkle with every cut, colour, and self-care moment.

With almost 20 years of hair experience, Jess and Santina know their stuff — Jess slays lived-in colour like a pro, and Santina’s the queen of custom hues that make every blonde, brunette, or bold babe shine. When we’re not styling, you’ll catch us renovating, jetting off somewhere new, rocking out at concerts, or hanging with family and fur babies — all the good vibes we bring straight to your Knotty chair.

    Behind the chair for the last 19 years, I’m a stylist obsessed with creating soft, personalized colour and a warm, easygoing vibe behind the chair. As co-owner of Knotty, my mission is simple: great hair, good energy, and guests who leave feeling confident and beautiful. When I’m not at the salon, I’m with family, catching flights, or trying out a new recipe.

    I’m a blonde specialist and extension lover with 5 years behind the chair and a passion for making people feel amazing.   • We’re all about giving you our full attention, so Knotty Beauty is strictly appointment-only. This way, we make sure every visit feels relaxed and personalized — no rush, no crowds.

  • If you want the good stuff, you gotta plan ahead! Book at least 2–4 weeks in advance to snag your spot, especially for colour or weekend appointments.

  • Absolutely! We offer free consultations—in person or online—to chat about your hair goals, show you some inspo, and help pick the perfect service for you.

  • Life happens, we get it!

    We kindly ask for 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This policy applies to all appointments - hair, spa and esthetics.

    Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours notice, or missed entirely, will be charged 50% of the service(s) booked. We require the fee to be settled before rebooking. We value our artists’ time and appreciate your understanding.

  • Cuts can take about 45–60 minutes. Colour and balayage? Plan on 2–3 hours. We’ll always give you a clear estimate during your consult so there are no surprises.

  • Bring your inspo pics, your current hair products, and any hair history you’ve got (colours, treatments, habits). It helps us tailor your Knotty experience just for you.

  • We only roll with the best — Moroccanoil and Wella Professionals. These premium goodies keep your hair healthy, shiny, and styled to perfection.

  • It depends on your look! Lived-in colour lovers might wait 8–12 weeks; root touch-ups usually happen every 4–6 weeks. We’ll guide you based on your style and goals.

  • Yup! Whether it’s your big day or a special event, we’ve got you covered with bridal hair, party styling, trials, and even on-location magic. Learn more here.
